Refund & Cancellation Policy

wheretodigwell.com · version 1.1 · Last updated 20 July 2026

We want you to be satisfied. This policy explains refunds for the paid product — unlocking a location (sold as credits). The depth-to-groundwater estimate on the map is free and involves no payment.

1. Nature of the product

1 credit = 1 location. Spending a credit unlocks one location: it reveals that location's drilling suitability and expected well yield, and includes the detailed AI report for it, which you can generate at any time while your code is valid. The credit is spent at the moment you unlock the location — not when you generate the report. Unlocking the same location again never costs another credit. This is digital content supplied immediately at your request.

2. Technical failure

If a technical problem on our side prevents us from delivering what a credit paid for — for example the unlocked values do not display, or the detailed report for an unlocked location cannot be generated — we will fix it or refund that credit. Contact us with the details and we will make it right.

3. Unused credits

Credits that you have not used (i.e. not spent on unlocking a location) can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Credits already spent on unlocking a location are non-refundable, because the digital content (the suitability and yield assessment, plus the included report) has been supplied — whether or not you have generated the report yet.

4. EU/consumer withdrawal right

Where a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to digital content, please note that by unlocking a location immediately you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for that location once it has been unlocked. Unused credits remain refundable as in Section 3.

5. How to request

Email info@wheretodigwell.com with your purchase reference (from your payment receipt). Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com; approved refunds are returned via the original payment method.

6. Dissatisfaction with results

Reports are rough, indicative estimates based on global data, not a guarantee of drilling outcomes. A result you disagree with is not by itself grounds for a refund, but we welcome your feedback and will always review technical issues.
